That half-hawk's black jigged bone, right? I have often wondered why RR didn't take a shot at "rough black". They must have a great supply chain for bone given their pricing and the apparent quality. I have one in smooth tobacco bone (received via a bomb from a friend on another site) and it's among my favorite RRs.

A short while back, in another thread, I mentioned how my wife never carries a knife when we fish. She said it was because all her knives have sentimental value because I gave them to her. An anonymous forum member has come to her rescue by sending my wife a fish knife that should have no sentimental value because she does not know the giver. The gift was much appreciated! I am afraid my wife is a sentimental kind of woman so I suspect the knife is not really free of sentiment, but she is planning to carry it.

Great idea by the anonymous benefactor! Glad your wife's fishin' knife problem is solved, though I will agree that the RR probably has a sentiment all its own now, thanks to the gesture. Plus it's a perfect color for Christmas so she's going to have a yearly reminder of AAPK generosity.

Ok,so this guy here is one of the most thoughtful people I know. I think a lot of him and consider a good friend. He sent my three kids their own knives. Thanks Kieth (Espn77) I appreciate it and come Christmas I'm sure they will too.
