Are they worth fixing
I have a Klien and Sons hawkbill electricians knife and a Colonial Barlow . I would not know where to being to fix them. How much would it cost to have them fixed by one of you that repair them. The Barlow I found along the road the Klien and Sons my wife's grandpa gave it to me along with a old belnap John Prim le stockman.

Delmar,
If they were mine, I'd clean the wife's grandpa's knife, that's a special thing, a keepsake. The barlow might be a candidate for one of the roundtable affairs that happen on AAPK from time to time.
There are several good threads on here about how to clean up a knife, it should be done as hand work, no aggressive motorized cleaning. Our ol' buddy, Scott (TripleF) has some instructions on knife restoration, look down the forum and find Knife Related Tutorials.

I agree with Treefarmer, the Colonial would not be worth the expense of restoring it. The Klein has some sentimental value and appears to just need a good cleanup.

The colonial barlow needs a bolster. I was going to use it as is.

Re: Are they worth fixing
That would be my recommendation. A minor clean-up on the Klein for the sentimentality attached to it and stick the Colonial in your pocket. It doesn't "need" a bolster to cut stuff and they have some good steel in them.
