First foray into "Overbuilt"... ZT0456
This is a really cool knife!
It's a Dimitri Sinkevich design, stone washed Titanium scales, blue anodized appointments, CTS-204P blade steel, KVT ball bearing pivot and a very unique blade grind that is functional, yet beautiful! Only 3.25" blade but very wide and very thick in the spine. It weighs 6 ozs. Really pleased with this one. $300.00 msrp, street price $240.00, I paid $204.00.

I realize most here could care less about modern knives. And I get that, I have my share of vintage knives that I cherish. But if you ignore these modern knives, I think you're doing yourself a disservice. This knife is built to the highest standard. Modern state of the art materials... beautiful design and execution. For as small as it is, it is built for extreme hard use. What a great tool! That is all.

That's a lot of knife tucked into a small package. I have no hardship with modern tactical's, I find many of them as works of art. I've blown $204 on much less. Nice pickup Dave.

no assist... it's not needed. Once you overcome the initial detent, this thing fires open.garddogg56 wrote:Dave very nicethere's no assist with KVT is there? And what do you mean by overbuilt?
Overbuilt means that for it's size, every aspect of this knife is extra large proportionally and made from the highest grade of materials. Extremely robust. Intended for extreme hard use.
