The wife and I had a great time over at the show. I really enjoyed meeting and visiting with Perry.
Here is a nice old Robeson. I love the bone on these old knives.

A cool Rooster Whittler. I showed this one to Sterling Buster and he said they made less than 25 of these.

Very nice pick ups farmer. I wish I had gotten to meet you. I was there until a little after lunch on Friday and then again Saturday. I got to meet Singin46, Froensic Jim, Knife Kid, Paladin, Gannbottom, I also got to meet and talk with Sterling Buster, Buzz Parker, and Clarence Risner.

I had a great time. I hope everyone that attended did.

Jfarmer, are you going to be at the NKCA show in Knoxville Dec. 28 - 30 ?

My wife bought me some more goodies too but I can't have them until Christmas and my birthday. I do know what they are but I don't know where she hid them.
I'm sorry we didn't get to meet too Jody. I looked for you but I never did find you. I probably won't be attending the show in Knoxville.

I knew it, James you really know your Roosters. I was tryin to see which one is my favorite but if your like me, they all are.

That Robeson is sure old world lookin.

I gotta say though that the Ducks in living color on the blade of that whittler and the set are the finds of the show for Fight'n Rooster Fans. Ok, you're still COCK OF THE WALK.

Great finds James, couldn't have wound up in better hands.

Hey, thanks Perry. Hey, do you remember the pearl chips sowbelly whittler set that the guy in the back of the building had? There were 3 of them in the set. They are hidden in this house somewhere. Man, I can't wait to get them.

I gotta go with Lenny on this one. That Cotton Sampler is outstanding, don't think I've ever seen 1 on Gunstock frame before.

Man your wife and my wife need to hang out together for a while James, mine could learn a few things from yours. That guy had so many Roosters it was hard and a little confusing to know where to go first. When you and I were standin there and you said "Boy you just wanna tak'em all don't ya" YES I DID JAMES.

Wow!! First class set of knives James..I especially like the sowbelly and Robeson but that set of cigar band congress knives are a thing of beauty will be quite collectable as time goes on..

Guys,
It was indeed a pleasure to get to meet and put some names and faces together at the show. I can't imagine having a better time.

I did manage to pick up some knives that I likely would not have found anywhere else.

I am attaching a photo of my favorite, a Schrade typesetter's knife from the factory collection. I do love the peachseed bone handles.
