You know Smoke,
They sell those clear holders in a lot of different sizes for displaying seashells. I have seen them in shell shops, I bet there are some in ebay and likely cheaper if you buy a dozen.

 I hate to admit it, but that just occurred to me as I read your post. ::dang:: ::dang::

Thanks guys, what do you suppose I would look under on Ebay, Shell holder? Come to think of it, they look a lot like decorative plate holders as well. I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks again. :D

Well if you had 8 or so empty stands wouldn't that be justification for 8 new knives? ::nod:: AAANNNNDDD if you had empty stands sitting around maybe someone would get the hint for a christmas present or two!

Of course at my house it would take a sign with red letters

"NOT ANOTHER *&^%$*& ing tie! I WANT A KNIFE!"

My wife is a certified genius, I mean after all she married me...
Well other than that one minor screw up she does belong to MENSA. Both of my kids are very bright. I have collected knives for years and knowing that I still heard "we don't know what to get you for Christmas!"
Now how can three brilliant woman, standing in front of several display cases of knives even ask that question?
I mean even strategically placed sale ads from various outlets, with knives circled in red have no effect !!!!! ::shrug::
Well I hope to have pictures of something besides a neck tie to post on December 26th!
Well I guess I will just have to take matter into my own hands.
