Museum or Factory???

Hey guys! My wife is taking me to Bradford, PA for my birthday this weekend. (Going to visit the Case museum while there.) The facory tour is open to just Case Collector Club members, right? Any other suggestions of things to do from those who have been there. What might she do if she gets totally bored? Thanks.

HEY your in my neck of the woods. You need go to Salamanca and visit the antique mall on main street HUGH and always knives. For a real history trip. Travel over to Little Valley and visit the Cat plant. closed down but inspiring none the less. also if you know what your looking for, you can see the CASE brothers plant. Now a house. Gosh, wish I could be thier with you.

hey matt,

my sister only lives 45 minutes away from the case plant and i was up there this past summer and i went to the case store in bradford pa. i was going to take a tour of the plant but didnt have time while i was there but im planning to back around easter. i just recently joined the case collectors club also.....mainly to be able to take the tour of the plant as it is only available to members. my father in law, myself, and my two nephews are going to take the tour. you get to see all 160 steps involved in making the case knives and talk to people and shake hands. im really looking forward to it. i have to tell you, i really enjoyed the case store last time. they have walls with huge display cases on them with alot of old case knives that i really enjoyed seeing. that was a big thrill for me. they sell new case knives, t shirts, hats, etc., but seeing the old knives was the best.

im in your boat also, in the fact that when i go back my wife, mother in law, sister, and sister in law will be with us and they wont be able to take the tour, so i told them they could look around the town of bradford while we do that. i think that would also be interesting.

anyway, im sure you will have a great time.....im looking forward to going back myself.

Great place to visit, I've made a couple of pilgramages there myself, a nice 3 hour ride on the scoot. If the mrs. get borded there are some antiuqe shops around as well as other shops. but if she is anything like my mrs she won't get too bored. If you want to have a belated birthday present I do beleive that the Case knife show is this summer, that would make for a longer day and more to see
