I hope y'all are not under the impression that posting your desire for a 2016 forum knife in this thread is some how magically going to guarantee a knife for you, IF THERE IS A 2016 forum knife. I'm just saying don't get your hopes up because at this point, I have seen zero indication there will be one and have seen Nothing from Bryan regarding a 2016 Forum Knife. ::shrug:: Of course, this in it's self means
nothing either.

Edit: At this point, only Bryan knows if there will be a Forum Knife. Only Bryan knows what pattern it will be IF there is a Forum Knife. Only Bryan knows how many will be made IF there is a Forum Knife and only Bryan knows when it will be released IF there is a Forum Knife.

Excellent clarification, Jerry. To my recollection the forum knife usually comes out sometime in the fall, but I don't remember any of the previous ones being this late?

Y'all look back at last years discussion of 2015 AAPK club knife and you will find that on December 3, 2015, Bryan made an announcement concerning the knife. Hold your horses  !

I would like to be included in the 2016 issue of the AAPK Club Knife. I have them all to date and wouldn't like to stop now.

Mitch, I am not an official source. Uh, I say, I say, that's a period right there at the end son. That post is an opinion piece.

Now if I've sufficiently confused you more than you already were, I'm going to slide on out the back door in hopes of avoiding the angry mob.

Not at all. There are a lot of ifs in that post and I'm just trying to make a point that none of us know what's going on down in Effingham and there's no point in getting fired up with no information to go on. I should have just kept my mouth shut. I've only made things worse.

My apologies to all.

Okay guys,
As Orvit pointed out Bryan is working on this issue of our club knife.
I'm confident he will give us an announcement when the knife is going to be made available to members.

It looks like twenty members so far are taking interest in a club knife,
More should follow when it is announced. ::ds::

I hope we have a couple options....two knives with different covers to choose from.

I want one or both if two are offered!

Here's a little private message I just got from the boss. More info to follow later but I thought you folks would like to know about this........

Hi Phil,

Firstly, My apologies for the recent absence.

I do have aapk knife news. I just emailed Dale this info prior to seeing your PM...

GEC is making us a couple 74 pattern knives. Single clip point blade Northfield flavor... 50 antique autumn bone & 50 antique green bone. AAPK shield & tang stamp ... 2016 date stamp on back... Not sure when they will be done. Got in line Early September, but GEC was pretty booked. Hopefully we get the knives real soon. Could be couple weeks & worst case scenario early Jan. 17 (God help us if that happens) ::paranoid:: Share any & all info you would like ::tu::

Best,
Bryan
