A few Roosters picked up at Parker Show

I'll get right to it, the first is a Pearl International Cutlery Club knife. These knives were produced from 81' to 93' and came in only Stag or Pearl handles. This one is a 4 blade Congress from 1983, 1 of 600 made, this is No. 081
Bought it from Buzz.

This one is a Serpentine pre 1982, think it was made in 1978 so early Rooster. Yellow handles....KEN. Frank called it Butter and Molasses. I think its a neat pattern. The next is a Butter and Molasses Sod Buster from 1978 as well. It has the nickle silver Roosters on the handle. Both of these are not really that rare but I like the designs, especially that Serpentine knife.

Both of these have great snap.

my first time to go and really enjoyed meeting alot of the guys from this site. That was the best part of the day for me. Me and jfarmer hung out and talked Roosters for a bit. It was a lot of fun and informative. Here's The End Of Day small stockman I picked up. 1989 1 of 200 No. 093.

Here's a few others, a Stag Serpentine single clip blade Fight'n Rooster, not sure of the year. It's not in the book but I think it was made around the mid 90s. Gold etch reads, The Kentuckian and back tang reads, Frank Buster Celebrated. The next one is a One Arm Man Buffalo Horn Show Down on the main blade, it also has the Celebrated tang stamp, 1 of 400 no. 076 from 1987.

Last one, a Fight'n Rooster Whittler 3 Backspring with Rose, Gold and Black handles. 1 of 250 marked Celebrated, probably made in the late 80s or early 90s. Kind of has the feel of a Cattleman knife pattern. Another Celluloid, has a little shrinkage at the bolsters but still a pretty handle. They call it Rose but it really looks like flame red to me.

Well that's it, hope you guys enjoy lookin. Can you tell what brand I'm into now?

Super knife I only have one Butter and Molasses Barlow by Rooster so far.

Any time you need money I will be willing to trade for yours.

Those red flicks look cool the longer you look at them...

Nice to see some one else that likes YELLOW handles..

Those Roosters are great looking knives. They embody the spirit of that fighting bird, with that in your face styling!
Here's my lonesome Rooster. It is a sort of Cattle knife, but with three full sized blades on three back springs. Beautiful pearl, that the scanner can't show. All blades stamped, both sides.
Who can tell me a value??

Yeah, Thats what the book says but I know that those prices were a bit inflated by Jim Parker at the time. Here we are some 13 years later and you might get that, but probably not on ebay from my experience. Maybe at a show though. The demand might be a little greater because of the passing of {CUZ} Frank Buster. Hope this helps Charlie.
