is there a AAPK club knife i can buy?

just wondering if theres a club knife i can buy, if so what is it, and how do i get it?

No knife yet, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Splitback Whittler from Canal Street Cutlery or a Muskrat from Canal Street Cutlery or Great Eastern using Camel or Giraffe bone.

huh, if you put camel bone on an elephant toenail would you have a cameltoe?

Below is a camel toe...er...bone trapper from Canal Street that Cumberland Knife Works just put up.

Say guys, I'm just wrapping up the 2007 knife for BFC (should be arriving later this month). We ran it through Canal Street, for the second year now, and I have nothing but accolades for those guys. If you'd like, I can start getting the ball rolling on a 2008 AAPK knife through Canal Street as well. The've got a ton of patterns to choose from, and a huge choice of handle materials. We ran a mammoth canittler this past year and kept it at $100 bucks with scroll work, etch, and shipping included. Other materials such as Rams Horn and jigged bone would have run from $65 and up to $75 or so for that particular knife, which featured D2 steel. let me know what you think.

Boy that sounds good to me ea, good price and I would love to see an AAPK knife as well. This place means alot to me and I know others. Talk to Bryan, he may already have something in the works.

Yeah, eBay seller alabamadamascus has some camel bone and I have about a dozen pairs in the shop. The store is Alabama Damascus Steel. You can see what's available at the following link. I do like their Damascus Billets also. I have 1 or 2 in the shop.

I have aged the bone (just set it outdoors for a bit) but I need to decide what color to dye them. I'm thinking of combining dyes, a blue and a black in proportions that will come out a steel gray. They recommend Fiebing's Professional Leather Dye which has a lot of colors available and this one is oil and spirits based rather than water.

I'll probably go with a Saddletan or Mahogany, something I already have in the shop.

Ah, who knows, but I will make them all the same color. Because each piece of bone takes dye differently, I will be able to match dyed scales better if I stick to one color.

I sure would LOVE to have the FIRST AAPK Club knife done by Canal Street in Dark Amber Stag Bone with both sides polished.

Lets stop talking about it and start sending in the money so we can order 100 of them. 1/2 down now and 1/2 before dead line ordering date. Bryan open a Club Knife account. Ask for $50.00 (first 1/2) and have a dead line date. The prototype is yours and I will take the first 5....

Put me down for an AAPK knife! Maybe a nice whittler, or anything with D2 or 1095 blades.
