Nice " ROPE CUT " Handles it says USA I will be watching this thread because if it's not I would have never known. ::barf::
looks real to me, but I'm new to this. The Schrade U.S.A. LTD stamp looks like all my other ones.

Looks just like this one I bought a few years ago before the Chinese made knives appeared. I'm no Schrade expert, but IMO legit :) s-k

There has been some speculation that a number of knives were made in blue bone for a deal with Lowe's that eventually fell through. IMO, that knife was probably bought at the auction, after the closing of the Schrade facility. Part of many truckloads of parts, work in progress, and inventory that has flooded eBay.

As always, JMO.

I think I read somewhere that they were destined for a cigar box series but, unfortunately, were never released before the company's demise :) s-k

It has fooled me if it's a China( ::barf:: ) made Schrade. Wouldn't mind having that one myself ::drool:: (don't worry, I would never bid against a AAPK brother on the Bay). Good luck jsudano, I hope you get it. ::nod:: ::tu:: duffy.

S-K's right, those were supposed to be part of a 100th anniversary cigar box set, which never came to fruition. Many knives such as that one never even got the etch or shield:
