Superb collection of old etched Maher and Grosh knives, peanut. They are all great, I am especially partial to the ebony handled ones and that swell centre jack is really special!

closed length of your knife. I could not find a picture. I have a knife much like yours, but not nearly so nice. Is your
knife 3 7/8" closed. Is the knife I pictured a El Diablo? Thanks

Took me many years of "Search and Rescue" to put this Stamped set together, one piece at a time. (Before the internet) including original Pin-Back.
I love "Advertisers"
I would like to have (or at least see) the "stamping die" that put Buster Brown & Tiege on this 11 and 3/4 inch hatchet, it must have been Humungus.
I've been thinking of putting a sigh under the frame that reads: "IF YOU RUN OUT OF AMMO: BREAK GLASS"


I need your help in identifying the maker of the "Hatchet" Marble's perhaps? I know that the "Brown Shoe Co." logo on the 8" Woodcraft was by Camillus via Shapleigh St. Louis MO. c1930s. But I'm confused on the hatchet.

The stamping measurements on Buster Brown & Tiege is over 2" by 2"

Love your Miller Bros. Looks as if the original owner had second thoughts after buying it and decided it was too beautiful to use?
Perhaps it was just carried around for "Show and Tell" only?
Luckily there are many of us that preserve this great history of cutlery and have great hopes to share it with generations to come.
