Here's "one" of the ones I did today. black buffalo horn, web turquoise and red fiber spacers on a case mid folding hunter. Got rid of the liner lock and stiffened the spring, no filework 'cause I stiffened it, don't stiffen and filework the same spring or bad things's liable to happen. This one's available for sale.
Thanks guys.
Ken, yes I think you're right a silver spacer after the red might set the black off more. i'll try that next time. Just came in from the shop, will have a horn/red/malachite mini copperlock to show tommorow, got too dark for pics. in total I have finished 3 knives today and have 2 more to the point where I can finish them tommorow morning. Been a long day fellas, gonna grab some nachos and call it a night.
2 THUMBS UP! I really like the clip on there. I hadn't liked clips much before, but after seeing yours on this I can see how practical it is. Like the ambidextorous thumbstud also.
Great work MM. I like that pattern, it's a good looking knife. The only thing that I don't like about that pattern is the thumbstud and it not having a nail nic to open it. Well, if I'm going to wish, I might as well go ahead and wish for what I want. I wish it had the long pull nail nic in the blade. Plain or match striker type would be OK with me. The thumbstud could be an extra add on for those who do like them. All of this is IMO. Just a thought.
A dull knife is like an empty wallet, no need to carry it.
