camillus #72

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

I'd like to find a table box like that!

Dimitri that was obviously a very meticulous fisherman that filled that tackle box. What a beauty!

Thanks Greg!

There were more knives than tackle in the box  the guys son told me that his father was involved with the scouts so at some point he bought all those scout knives. Will be interesting to see what is left in that box, stay tuned.

Randy, someday I'll sit down here and make a list for you of the ones I know about and that's probably not all the clones.

That would real cool Jerry! I found the most information about the 72 pattern and its spin offs here. The little info that I found on my own all came by accident. Meaning finding one for sale and buying it! Thank you for your input here as well as the 72 patterns that you gifted me. ::tu:: ::tu::
