Every photo posted has been really nice.

Johnny - I thought that photo of the Case Sodbuster with the hickory nuts and pine needles was especially nice!

Mike - I always appreciate the photos of old knives - that photo of the Schrade on the log with the blade open appeals to me!

This week I have been cutting some river birch trees in my front yard. Here are a couple of well used and well loved knives on birch logs.

Case red bone perched atop some red sumac.

I took about a dozen shots of this one while the branch swayed in the breeze in and out of frame and focus and shadow, this was the best of the lot. Still not quite what I was hoping for though

Is that sheepsfoot blade original equipment on that Imp scout? I've never seen that combination before.

Tony, I reckon it is. Scott (triple F ) had one for sale, it had screw driver blade (aka TL- 29 ) mine has been reprofiled .The sheep foot has half stops.

That is pretty cool, I think I might like one with the original blades. One of my Klein 3-blade linesman knives had the hawk reprofiled to a sheepsfoot and I have found that collection of blades (sheepsfoot, spear, TL-29 screwdriver/stripper blade) to be uniquely useful in a single knife. One of my first projects once I acquire some better tools is going to be modifying and rehandling another one of those Kleins in a sort of barehead loom fixer style knife. Assuming I ever find the time, that is.
