Re Handling HELP
I need some help on how to re handle a fixed blade. This is an old Western and the handle had dry rotted and need replacing.

Here ya go, Fatman
Just drive out those 2 pins in the butt. It all comes off the back end.
That handle doesn't really look all that bad, tho'. You might try sanding it, and puttin' a sealer on it, before you replace it ?

Some of you may have heard of this guy, he is located in Maryville TN and his name is Dave Quenemoen. He owns DQ Custom Knives.
Super good fellow. I enjoy just sitting and talking with him. I spent the better part of 5 hours with him today, most of it talking and half hour or so working on that Wester.

If there is any addiction worse than collecting knives it is repairing knives!
