I love Frank Buster and the Fightin' Rooster knives. That pair you posted are outstanding!!!! ::tu::

I'm with Ivoryman, that green striped canoe is real eye candy.

I only have two Fightin' Rooster canoes (so far)......and I might be reposting one or both of these...not sure.

Thanks Sasquach;
I always look forward to viewing your beautiful Canoes.

I've lost a few beautiful cells over the years, mostly Roosters. Segregation and fresh air was of no help.
Kind of like when I still drive my little old 1988 Toyota 22R P/U Truck on the freeway
Just pray it gets me back home and lasts for a few more years.
I don't let family members ride in it with me. (Safety Paranoia)
When I purchased it in 1988---No rear bumper, had to add it later. I think doors were an option ::shrug::

The bluegreen Appy canoe is awesome, Squach. I've got not one but two medium toothpicks in that color but I don't often stumble across other patterns. It seems Case went with the green/yellow Appy more often. I like 'em both but the bluegreen is really cool. Thanks for sharing your fleet! ::tu::

Well Gentlemen, I know I have reposted a couple of my knives here and there on this thread but I have tried to avoid it as much as possible. I am now reaching the point where I don't have many left that haven't already been displayed here. This group of photos will just about do it and I'll have to wait 'til I make some new additions in order to post fresh boats! ::paranoid::

As I go back over what I've posted, if I notice any that I've missed I'll certainly throw them up here. I'm also working on some new acquisitions that should yield some new posts.

I got out my collection catalog and carefully went over all of my posts here.... and I found that I have overlooked a total of 15 canoes!!!

I guess I spoke too soon in my previous two posts. I would never have though that I missed that many.

So here they are.....first five...

I posted 2 of my Rooster Canoes here a couple days ago that I purchased in 1990.
Below is my most recent Canoe I've obtained.
At this rate of my Canoe purchases, in the year 3140 I will have as many Canoes as Charlie (Sasquach)
That is: If Charlie stops obtaining Canoes. ::shrug::

Nice natural bone bean, Dan, it has a translucent quality almost like rams horn. I've always been a huge fan of the natural or white bone (smooth or jigged) scales and yours is no exception....or should I say, yours is exceptional?

Charlie...when I saw that brass Taylor Cherokee single blade canoe, my heart skipped a beat. I love the blade profile on that one...of course, as you know, I'm all about wharncliffe blades (on any pattern), even if I have to convince someone else (like Ivoryman) to grind 'em out. The profile on that Taylor is about as close to a factory wharncliffe on a canoe as I have ever seen except for the rare and elusive Buck "Canoose". So, naturally, I had to have one for my collection. Amazingly, there were two available on eBay...I bought the first one, but there's still one remaining. Might have to buy it too and then have Ivoryman finish the job and give it a full-on wharnie.

Thanks for showing...I never would have searched it out if not for your posting.

Now, if only I could find a Buck "Canoose"...that's my current Holy Grail.

Hope you enjoyed your vacation, Phil. We need all the vacation we can get!

Part of collecting anything is showing off your collection. I've enjoyed posting all my canoes here. It got me looking at some knives I haven't given any attention to lately so thank you for inviting me here to show them.

I don't know if anybody can match that armada you brought but I have received a few canoes recently and have a couple more on the way. I'll try to find some time this weekend to start the "assembly line" and get some photographed. Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating for outdoor artsy shots but I may be able to set up a little something. I'm way behind on photographing some of my new acquisitions. ::paranoid::

Got one in jigged amber bone and CV (with canoe etch) still to come. Will make an excellent pal for my 75 stockman.

How many dots on the '70s canoe?

The Limited Edition Series XXVIII is nice with that bright Marigold bone handle. ::clapping::

It's a 4-dot, 1976. Nice full blades and perfect bone handles. Should be hopping in a pocket this week. The marigold canoe will pair well with the swayback jack from the same series.
