Computer-challenged new dog

Post by Rustle47 »

::ds:: Finally made it! My activation notice was buried in the junk mail folder - how or why I have no clue. Sometimes computers just baffle me. Well, I work in a steel fabrication plant that builds large dump truck beds for the mining industry like the open-pit coal mines here in Wyoming. My job is to get all the info to the welders that they need to actually build the bodies. The blueprints & cutting lists, make sure the steel is getting ordered, etc. But...after hours, I'm a slip joint junky & proud of it! Here is a picture (hopefully) of my pride & joy, a real 1st generation Bulldog 5 blade sowbelly. It has the thin bolsters & the right color of stag & even the oil stains can't hide it's beauty. I'm sure glad to be here!

Hello Casper, Wyo; Now that sounds like a cold state to me right about now.

Is that where Casper the ghost lives ? ...

Nice to have you with us. I will try to worm you up if you get to cold.

Hello Rustle, Glad to see another knife lover here. I think I may have used a few of your products in my life. My son does it now. He works on a big strip mine here in WV. Well, sir, I'm real glad you joined AAPK. You cant find more knife loving, helpful, all around good people than the ones on this website. I look forward to chatting with you on these forums and please post some pictures of your knives if you can. There's a bunch of us on here that have to have our daily fix of knife pictures. Take care, duffy.
