Any other CASE canoe collectors out there?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I'd call it the Q Canoe, designed and conceived by him. I just manned the grinder.

The Q Canoe.........sounds good to me! ::tu::

Maybe you guys can sell the idea to Case, Queen, or GEC. ::idea::

Then I could say "I know the guys who developed that pattern!"

I'd certainly be a name dropper on that one! ::super_happy::

Please feel free to drop my name, Squach...especially if it translates into royalties (free knives will be accepted in lieu of cash). ::handshake::

We seem to have two canoe threads going simultaneously...but, since this one is specifically designated for CASE canoes, I'll post my latest CASE canoe addition here.

I started this thread before I knew about the other one. Philco pointed out the older thread to me. When I started this one I put CASE in the title but I was interested in all canoes.

Your latest addition is a sure keeper, Q! ::tu:: ::clapping::

It's also one that is still on my wanted list.

Well, personally, I don't mind the parallel canoe threads...it just means there are more opportunities to see many different beautiful canoes.

I can't believe I actually found a Case canoe that you don't have yet, Squach...in fact, I was fully expecting you to follow up my post with photos of the same design in a half dozen different colors! By the way, this is one canoe that will be spared from Ivoryman's grinder...I like it too much just the way it is.

Like Tony (Tsar Bomba), I am on the hunt for a Buck Canoose; I REALLY like that knife.

not a canoe collector and more of a half whittler guy but who ever is interested, I have a 2006 XX Select Baby Butterbean Elk Horn Antler - NIB for $120 shipped. I can't get pics loaded and I think the file is too large or something. I can email or text the pics if you want. willing to trade a nice old half whittler for it as well. 818-491-6807 thanks
