FS or FT: Knife Ornaments

Post by TripleF »

Couple months ago I was polishing a little shell handle Hammer Brand and wondered why? They frequently have little value I thought and posed the question to myself (and as you'll see YES I DID ANSWER myself): Can anything be done to these little trinkets knives to make them "wanted".

Out of the blue the idea came......add some ribbon and turn them into knife ornaments. Yeah. ::shrug::

Most were rotted with black tarnish and pitting....thus they've been polished to bring out the luster on the blades.

Who knows if the idea will sell, but you guys get first dibs.

$15.00 each, shipped. Will trade as well!!

I bought several of those old Imperials and Hammers Scott polished up a few months ago and he did a fantastic job bringing them back to life. They will never get the respect of their Case, etc. brothers but they sure do liven up the colors in the knife drawer. Keep saving 'em Scott!

I have a small Christmas tree about 30 inches tall, that I decorate every Year with miniature knives. It's one of the aluminum trees that you used to see years ago. Most people don't even notice the knives on it as they are not a lot of bright colors.
