Another Heart Breaker
I was just looking at a Case Coke Bottle on E-bay, it's item# 110196964961. It's a shame that some doofus put it to a grinder
. Why don't people stick all those china made POS to a grinder?
. Anyone that abuses a good knife doesn't deserve to own one, right?
A dull knife is like an empty wallet, no need to carry it.

That knife isn't worth the $19.99 starting bid, to me anyway.

I agree upnorth. I would have been worth more if some nut hadn't put it on a grinder, as you can see in the seller's pictures. I hate to see any U.S.A. knife get put to a grinder. I get the same feeling as finger nails scratching down a chalk board when I see a good knife that's been put to a grinder. On the other hand, I get a warm all over feeling when I even hear that a china made and ect. kind of knife has been totaled by a grinder.
I would say I love it when they get lost too but, someone always finds those POS knives. If a good knife gets lost, it's usually in Jimmy Hoffa's pocket cause it's never found.

For someone who is capable of replacing the blade(and has access to one)it would probably be worth it.The rest looks presentable but photos can be deceptive. If it were an extremely rare knife(which I doubt it is)it would be worth saving.
I have a couple of rare knives that are in need of repair. One is an Eloi Pernet sailor's knife that the lock is broken on.It is an external back spring with a loop to release it so it would be a fairly easy fix.The body is a single chunk of cow horn with slots cut in it for the blades and liners. All parts are numbered.
I don't have the time or the capability to repair it but I would never get rid of it.I also have a similar one with multiple blades that suffered the same fate.Hopefully it will be fixed one day.
