what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Treefarmer, I can't tell which one looks happier, the baby or the grand pappy.
Great picture. Congrats on the grandson!

"Grandchildren are the best"
I believe this to be true but have never got to test it out. I have 3 adult children, ages 39, 37 and 34, and NO GRANDCHILDREN ! I am disappointed and as 2 are female, the clock runs out soon.

I have two granddaughters, one 21 the other 23 and am hoping they will bless me with great-grandchildren before I go TU.

Edit: I'm such a sexist pig. I don't know why I left out the grandsons, 16 & 18. ::doh:: They could also bless me with great-grandchildren and I hope they do (in a conventional way).

Thanks for the nice compliments! I hope we are around long enough to enjoy this little feller as he begins to grow, the other grandsons are 11 and 12 and both are into knives, fishing and shooting. I just wish they didn't live so far away :( .
Jerry, I told several folk he was wearin' a wig when they commented on his thick hair :) .
fergusontd, we had an old preacher many years ago that commented on grandchildren, "He loved to see 'em come and he loved to see 'em go!" After a week with the 2 older ones I totally understand that saying! I believe we should have grandchildren 1st.

I'm impressed that you rattled off the ages, or did you have to check with your wife to get it all correct. I haven't a clue how old my 5 kids are, much less the 16 grandkids or 4 great-grandkids. I can figure it out given a little time using things like "what car was I driving when a particular kid was born?"___Dave

Ya'll reminding me about my 85 year old Uncle Bill. He's got 4 kids (my cousins) and 12 grandchildren. At a family gathering one day someone asked him "Bill, how many great-grandkids have you got now?"

He answered "'Fourteen, and one on the way"

To which was immediately responded "Who's pregnant?"

"Heck I don't know, but one of them's bound to be!"

I have 19 grandkids.
I used to say, "I have 19 grandchildren. A couple are pretty good but none of them are great."
I can't say that anymore because our great-grandson just celebrated his 2nd birthday.
Alyson and I were up in Washington last weekend to visit him. He pitched to me for about a half an hour.
The kid has one heck of an arm, especially for just being 2 years old! I think we have a new King Felix in the making!

And Ferguson, I do not remember their ages. I feel great when I remember their names! ::rotflol::

::hmm:: Orvet, having only 7 grandkids its easy to remember names and ages, but when you have 19+ and great grandkids I can see where it would be hard to remember everyone. ftd
