Vintage Acid Etched & Stamped Blades

Camillus 1047 (Scout version of the #72) with a "Boy Scout Whittler" etch. I'm guessing last third of the 40's.

Very nice, and the first one that I've seen with an etch.

Maher & Grosh Colorado Stockman.Made by Miller Brothers with screw on handles and covered backsprings.

Wonderful M&G collection, and the etches sure top the cake.

I don't believe anybody has posted an "A. J. Jordan". I've always like the triple A-1 stamp.

Thanks, and yes they were. Jordan started out in 1871 as a cutlery retailer in the United States but then opened a factory in Sheffield England in 1885 where they produced their own knives. They also continued to sell imported knives from Germany.

A CRYING SHAME. Don't ever try to open a can of paint with an Ivory handle budding knife!! It wasn't me, this one came to me in an estate sale box lot.
