Here is a Waterville pearl. 3 1/16".
Nice little knife that is missing the manhole cover that the knife pried free.
Many chips out of the belly of the main blade.

Bringing this back up top....

Here is a Waterville Wharncliffe with engraved aluminum handles and appears to be brass pins with a closed length of 3"... a nice compliment to Joe's knife above with jigged bone .. This one has CONN in the tang stamp which as noted in first part of this thread was often seen on aluminum handled knives which began to be produced in mid 1880s... nice snappy and tight knife for its age... Waterville in my opinion was no doubt one of the quality cutleries of the Naugatuck area of CT.... and one of my favorites .... I have been wanting to add a nice aluminum knife for awhile to my pile ...
