ALL TIME SPLENDID CUTLERY Any info?

I found this old well made whittler but have no information on it. Any maker or dating info is appreciated. No other country marks etc.

Never heard of it and neither had John Goins, because it isn't in his book.

I'll tell you what it's not...it's not fake or fantasy or counterfeit.

Handles look like well aged ivory, possibly.

I eagerly await some pertinent information from somebody.

Meanwhile, I will research...

There was a 4 1/4" pearl handled, swell-center, balloon-ended whittler sold in that collection of Dr. Emberton's by J. Bruce Voyles auctions.

It was marked on all three blades.

Knife was cleaned and I guess there might be some question as to whether the pearl handles were original to the knife, as Dr. Emberton was not opposed to creating a pearl handled whittler where one didn't exist.

I have no idea what the knife sold for. It was lot #48.

Beautiful old wharncliff whittler! Levine mentions All Time Splendid Cutlery in his list of pocketknife brands, however, gives very little information. He says MAYBE made in England?

A knife that lives up to it's tang stamp.That is a splendid jewel of a knife, used and maybe abused a little,aah but the stories if it could only talk. That switchblade you posted is great also, quite a find congrats. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Beautiful old knife with wonderful patina!!! So nice to see the originality of it, I hope it stays untouched.
