Knife identification

Post by atcraig123 »

I recently purchased a folding pocket knife from a estate sale. It has what looks like plastic sides. It also has a crown on the side. It's a single blade folding pocket knife. It has the numbers 2284833 p2689400. I think it sas Imperial USA on the side.

It is an Imperial shell handle knife.
The handles are a metal shell with a wrap of a plastic or celluloid type paper around the outside of the shell.

They did have good steel in the blades. They usually take and hold a good edge, just be sure and keep it well oiled as they do tend to rust.
