KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY

Found this Hess Pioneer in a little Outdoors store that carries a lot of used gear including slipjoints and fixed blades. It had a tree company name and logo with employee dedication on both sides of the blade. It appeared to be unused with factory edge. I hand polished it to a mirror finish removing the logo's and sharpened it to a hair popping edge. The best part was it was only $20

David (Edge), thanks for your observation - you got me thinking, looking, and comparing. I have one Schrade LB-7, after side by side comparison the Craftsman is obviously not the same knife. I did some on-line research and it appears that my knife is the Sears Craftsman version of the Imperial Frontier "Double Eagle" series Big Horn Lock-back #4815. My knife appears identical in every aspect from the pictures I could find of the Big Horn on-line. Thanks for leading me in the right direction! OH

OH, from what I have read in the past. Those Imperial Frontiers were made by Camillus.
