Remember that vintage Remington knife roll that was on Ebay last week. I posted a link to the auction. Well it came it the mail today. I wanted to see what it would look like filled back up with Remingtons. I realize theres virtually no chance, but its cool to think that maybe one of these knives was carried in the same roll some 75 years ago as some salesman lugged it from hardware to hardware store.

Stockman is correct, this roll holds 150 knives, although not all of these are etched. Its weighs about 22 pounds, but I've got several small pen knives in it. I bet if it were full of daddy barlows and folding hunters it would go 40 pounds or more. Somewhere I've got a vintage Case knife roll that probably holds 300 or more knives, one would probably need a wheelbarrow to move it around if it were full. I may try to dig it out after while and take some photos if it. Its the largest knife roll I've ever saw.

Very nice collection. How long did it take you to accumulate all of these?
