so I got a lockback zippo at a yardsale, bradford, pa. $2.
is this a re-badged case knife? I am having difficulty with posting pics right now, any info greatly appreciated.

Zippo had knives made by several different companies prior to thier purchase of CASE. It is possible that it is a CASE knife, but you would have to compare it to a known CASE to positively Identify it. Hope that helps

IIRC, My Zippo sales rep in the 1980s, told me that Zippo made the money clips, key rings & other "pocket jewelry" type knives.
Here is one that my sales rep, Bill Feldhaus, gave me before he retired in the early 1990s, after 50 years with Zippo.
