One of the first items I purchased on e-Bay.Can't believe no one bid on it.Must have been a salesman's display case. Was going to use it for knives, but if it were filled,I doubt I could pick it up.
Made of paste board with reinforced corners of metal, the shelving is aluminum.Never seen a case like this with so many shelves(16).Was going to restore the decals on the side(copyright dates on them are 1942)but decided it would diminish the value.Only repair I had to make was a loop for one of the latches. Was going to store knives in it but can't get the musty smell out of it.Think it's embedded in the pasteboard.

VERY well done, K7K !
Can you imagine the poor salesman that had to lug that thing around, full of knives ? And then, every night, in some hotel, he would wipe down all the knives, after he filled out his orders...
No wonder the decals are rubbed and scuffed...bouncing around, on gravel roads, in the back of a 1940 business coupe ! Yeah, I can remember when U.S. highways were still gravel, here in Arkansas.
Preserve it, and enjoy it !
