usa kinfolks
Please offer info on Kinfolks Knives. I know that they are a product of Case. The question, are they totally made in the usa. E-BAY USES EVERY PLOY TO AVOID THE USA QUESTION

Got a photo or a link?
Kinfolks was a company started by a Case family member and the name was subsequently acquired by Robeson, as Emerson Case was president of Robeson and had previously left Kinfolks to take that position.
I have no knowledge of Kinfolks after Robeson shut down in 1965.
There is, however, a very nice and informative Kinfolks website owned and operated by a family member.

Thanks Charlie, I feel the knives listed on E-Bay by SMKW are replicas and imported.

Would it be possible for you to post a link to or even just explain exactly which knives concern you?Huck Finn wrote:I feel the knives listed on E-Bay by SMKW are replicas and imported.
If you're talking about the handful of different folders listed, there are both more recent "Family Brands" (if I recall correctly) knives made by Case under the Kinfolks name, and others from when Parker used the name that were not.

USA pearl celluloid listed by mvpknife is listed at the present time. I believe SMKW owns the listing. I am interested if the knife is made in USA! Thanks for your interest.
