Here's some more old stag:A pair of George Wostenholm lockback folders pre-1891 .The second picture from the top:A George Woodhead pruner,a Samuel Robinson pruner, and an unmarked huge single blade folder. The two pruners are circa 1860-1870.

What the heck;here's a few more:
From the top:An old IXL 2 blade.an unknown mini pruner,an Edward K.Tryon 2 blade,an E.M.Dickinson horseman's knife and an IXL horseman's knife(near mint).
The next picture top to bottom:a Smith and Wesson bowie with custom stag handle and a Randall Gilbraith (sp?)bowie.
The next pic is 3 knives by a maker named McGrann.Name is stamped into end of guard and if you look at the blades in the right light and angle, there is another name on them.I think he may have just made the handles.Nice knives though.

I thought I would post this Schrade 123OT now that I finished putting the stag on it.
I think it looks better than the Delrin handles it came with.

Vintage Buck stag
Here is an old 110 with some nice stag. Can't figure out if it was a custom or a modification. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

Re: Vintage Buck stag
It's definitely not regular production. I can only see the rocker pin and I should be able to see 2 pins near the rear bolster and a single pin near the front bolster.morestag wrote:Here is an old 110 with some nice stag. hukk, there would only be two scale pins and a rocker pin on a knife of that era, could have been custom order or customization. most likely the latter

after enlarging the picture I see some rather large gaps between the bolsters and handles, not "even" gaps but offset gaps like occurs when the handle is cut too short and gets twisted when it is affixed with epoxy. Also the head on the pin looks hand peined and there looks to be a slight gap around it. I think it's safe to say this is definately aftermarket.Hukk wrote:muskrat man wrote:hukk, there would only be two scale pins and a rocker pin on a knife of that era, could have been custom order or customization. most likely the latterYou're right, I'm thinking of one I did a few days ago, new.
