remington scout knives handle materials and knife box

Could anyone tell me, if remington ever made a black looking bone composite material for scout knives, and also I am looking to buy a reproduction remington golden oak chest box

I've been seeing several Remington scout knives with black imitation bone jigged handles. They are a R3333, I can't find any reference to them in any of the old catalogs, but the ones I saw look legit. Maybe a run of knives in the late 30's.
Theres a guy on Ebay that makes or has made for him, the repro displays like you are looking for. They show up every few months, keep a watch for one and it'll show up.

thanks for the information, I have bid on a few of the repro boxes, but just can't see spending over $200 for the repro
