The reason i asked about sharpening the Bulldog is because i have read 1 or maybe 2 posts which describe a Bulldog as having blades too soft to take a good edge.
Is an etch applied to a blade before or after tempering ?

I have been carrying this rough old Schrade Walden 890 just lately. Skinned out a few houseflies with it this morning. The wings are the hard part.

Hey Cal. This is my Skeeter Skinner, only I don't pack it in the winter time. It won't get very sharp so it kinda butchers 'em and messes up the skins. Tedious job, I'm here to tell ya.
