Tom, thanks for the additional information on Buck and the BSA. By the way, Buck just issued last summer a SFO for a Council out west - a 100th Anniversary OA Buck 110 - very nice. Buck also keeps a very competitively priced Buck 500 Eagle Scout model on their website for custom ordering (price of $50.00 includes the engraving) - they must have worked out their differences.

Here is the backside of my BUCKLITE - it has the Brotherhood sash embroidery etched on it. I'm thinking there must have been a Vigil and an Ordeal version of this knife as well. I have seen one other version - it had the OA backpack patch etched on it that was in use in 1983 (modernized chief in a feather headdress). OH

Ray, from what I can see in the pictures it looks like there's plenty of rise on the backsprings, how's the "snap" on that 1047?

That's a good looking 1047 for that money. I got one recently in the plastic tube near mint(IMHO) condition for 24 bucks may be to much but what the hay I'm happy. :D

Camillus Rockwell Commemorative .1996
Somewhere online there was a knife dealer with a bunch of different Norman Rockwell scout knives NIB ,I can't remember ...it was before I got into collecting scouts really.
Anybody know who it might have been ? ::hmm::

Wow, Bestgear, that is a wonderful collection you have! Fantastic work on putting those in one lineup ::nod::
Any chance you could do a little photoshoot with some of the blades open? I would love to see more of the various blade configurations.

A couple of photos of a Keen Kutter scout. Last pic shows the etched on pattern number, likely the reason a lot of older Keen Kutters do not display a pattern number, long ago worn off on most of them.
