I've been doing some work with Taylor Cutlery for a while now and they recently certified me to do repairs, and I am handling all requests regarding the American made Schrade knives that they are often asked to warranty or repair (as far as I know they offer no repair services, only replacement).

Later I became acquainted will William Schrade, the great grandson of George Schrade and he also certified me to work on all the knives made under Schrade patents like flylocks, press buttons, presto etc. This was a real honor for me, and meant a lot to me because as many of you know I am very framiliar with all of these designs and they are one of my primary requests and as far as I am aware I am the only one in the country actively offering extensive repair and restoration services for these knives.

Congratulations Kaleb. Are you looking for some repair work and how much of a job is fixing a broken kick-out spring in a double end switchblade bone handled harness jack. It's stamped Shapleigh, but I'm sure Schrade made it. ____Dave
