Here is a link to an Ebay auction for a Robeson junior stockman that I'm sure is 100% right.
But, I have never seen this particular handle before.
I've seen that deeply red, almost maroon, composite on Robeson Barlow patterns from the 1950's, but it was smooth, not even saw-cut.
And I've seen that "jigging" pattern on the same Robeson patterns, but the composition was black.
I've also never seen this material shrink or decompose. I have no idea what it is.
