Totally aggree, HERE'S THE MONEY BOX'EM ALL UP AND SEND'EM ON. Not much fun in that at all. And then what, you live out the rest of your days starin at the cases no thanks, GET ME TO A SHOW PLEASE.
If I wanted a store I'd buy one. Nevertheless, very serious collection.
Thanks for the info Johnnie.
I am sure there must be someone somewhere that this will appeal to, just not me.
Oh, the knives are great, but I agree with everyone else, I want the fun of finding them, buying them and enjoying each new knife as they trickle their way into my collection.
I guess one would do good to remember that the name of the hobby is "Knife Collecting" not "Knife Owning."

WELL SAID Dale, But until I own every known brand of Penn Knife, I will be collecting and I seriously doubt I will every own all of them.

We all know our love of this hobby goes beyond buying one massive collection and then saying, " Well, I'm done. Now what". the hunt goes on, because we always "NEED" just one more!!!!
shoot guys, if i could afford to spend that much i would buy a large collection. that would'nt stop me from buying other brands.

I think you're probably right Ring but it sure is fun to see all of those together. Hey pa. I'm gonna try to pick up one of your books this weekend at the NKCA show in Nashville. Hope to snag that at least. Can't wait to read it.
That auction is a nice older couple selling their lifelong collection. They were always at the Queen show, and will likely continue to go every year!
It's amazing when a husband and wife are both into knife collecting. My wife indulges me with a lot of "that's nice, sweetie", but I could be collecting scalps!! She's happy when I'm happy gloating over my "stuff"!
But this couple both love the knives!!
Boy, that's great to hear Charlie, I can't imagine how it would be if my wife enjoyed collecting knives. Maybe she would go to the show this weekend instead of furniture shopping. BTW I really enjoyed spending a few days in your fair city this summer Charlie. This is me and a couple of band mates on the streets of Vancover.
