New Guy Here
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 60 year old retired guy that loves knives. I am active in the traditional knives on another forum but have gleaned a lot of good info from here and thought it time to join. Although I have some modern folders my passion is for traditional knives. I don't collect just one pattern although I have more Barlows than anything else. The latest knife I have acquired was a GEC #47 Hayin' Helper single blade sheepfoot, I noticed Glennbad on here and he has redone an old Imperial Barlow for me in stag and did a beautiful job. He now has 6 more of my knives redoing them in stag also. I enjoy a nice but sometimes expensive knife like my Todd Davidson but also have several Rough Riders I enjoy. I prefer Carbon to stainless and not a steel snob 1095 is fine with me but I do enjoy finding the occasional slipjoint in CPM 154 or such. My collection is not big but not really small either. I have around 120 knives and am adding when ever something catches my eye. I also enjoy gifting the occasional knife. I look forward to getting to know you folks and participating on this forum.

Welcome Randy! I've seen your posts on the Traditional Forum -- gents, Randy is a good guy to have around the fire with you.

Hey Old Hunter I've saw a few of guy's from (across the Street) on here. I have googled info and ended up here so many times I thought I needed to join. Seems to be a great bunch of folks on a great forum. Been a long time since I've been a newbie though.
