Nice old Pearl Robeson

I just got this one in today. A pretty nice one for its age and the pearl is pretty nice but I couldn't capture it with the camara. I really like these old Robesons. I think I will concentrate on collecting these for a while.

Now that is one sweet knife.

I have such a fondness for old pocket knives and ones like this in such great condition.

You have a great peice there. Please show us more of your fine OLD knives.

Those are "Sweet" James, I agree with David that there is nothing like the older pocket knives. They just seem to have a life of their own and call out to you...

Two very nice little knives. I fondly remember having Robeson's as a kid, in the late 50's to about '62.

Someone used to give them to me, although I never had a pen. I always had fishing knives, or toothpicks, as I liked them best for skinning muskrats.

I think they were " lunchbox " knives, with wood covers that I kept nice and shiney. Wish I had them now.

That's one old but many time use saying to a lot of things.

Like cars, toys, and guns just to mention a few.

Jfarmer perhaps you need more money to get more Robesons ?

I will buy some old Hammers from you....

This old Robeson has seen a lot of work, yet the blades still have the smooth walk and talk....

I bought it today at an antique store for 5.00. Probably not worth anything like that, but I am a sucker for old knives that have been doing the job for decades....
Anybody have an idea of the date this old work horse may have been produced ?
