Landenberger custom Loveless

Post by terryl308 »

::tu:: Just finished up this one for a customer in Mo. It is a Loveless style drop point with a nice piece of English Walnut for a handle, I put a tapered tang on it and used CPM 154 stainless for the blade. Turned out pretty good I think, thanks for looking, terry ::handshake::

Very nice Terry! Great looking walnut scales complete with Loveless style "bolts". Did you make the sheath as well?

:D gmusic, yes I make my own sheaths, hand stitched with 8-9oz leather from wicket and craig tannery. Let me know triple F, I'd be glad to make you a knife sometime, I have some more nice English walnut and ebony, but don't wait too long, I'm slowing down a little, I'll be 73 in a couple of weeks! ::woot:: Terry

Stagman, funny you should mention Cabela's, I worked there for 8 years in the Gun dept. also sold my knives there for 3 or 4 years. I retired in 2011 and just stay home and make a few knives nowdays, more of a hobby than anything. Thanks for the comments, Terry
