Hawbaker Muskrat??

I have several Muskrats, and a few Case knives w/ a Wharncliff blade. I was just looking at a Hawbaker listed on ebay (don't own one of those) BUT, it just now hit me.....is that not a Wharncliff blade on Hawbaker Muskrat?? I need one of those babies!! FTR, what years did they make a Hawbaker Muskrat??

Theres an excellent story about the Hawbaker muskrats in Sargents Guide to Kives and Razors. Some of the early ones list for over $1,000.00 . There seems to be some counterfeiting going on with this pattern. Post a link to the auction so we can take a look see.

There is also a good story about S. Stanley Hawbaker, his company and the knives they sold in the October 2001 Knife World.
From what I gather he had a mail order trapping supply company and sold knives from several companies over the years. Between 1904 till 1999 (maybe longer the article only lists until 1999) he had Schrade, Schrade Walden, Case and Queen make folders for him at different times.
They were still in business in 2001 and may be still today.
