I saw the yellow one you posted in the Buck sub-forum recently - that was the first I had ever seen of a yellow handled Buck. I have seen the identical knife labeled for Remington and having green/yellow sawcut scales - I nearly bought one off of ebay, but decided I should simply buy another Buck if I wanted two. OHBaykeeper wrote:Good to see some appreciation for the 313 Muskrat OH. I bought mine in 1973 and it has been my companion every day since. An unappreciated pattern in my opinion. Did you know they made a few of those in Yellow Delrin?Old Hunter wrote:I've been hauling this Buck 313 Muskrat around for the last several days, really like the low, closed profile it has. OH

I must have missed that one, but you can be sure I will be looking for one. I see the only Muskrat that Buck makes now is an import. I'm sure it's a decent knife, but the original 300 Series are what yank my chain.Old Hunter wrote:I saw the yellow one you posted in the Buck sub-forum recently - that was the first I had ever seen of a yellow handled Buck. I had a couple, both Toothpicks, I was so NOT enthused with them I gave them away. As far as Buck is concerned I'm a real deal guy. Other imports are noticeably better knives than theirs for some reason, they should stick with what they know, and leave the import business to others.ken98k wrote:I have a couple Buck imports and they leave a lot to be desired.Baykeeper wrote: I see the only Muskrat that Buck makes now is an import. I agree. I have lots imports, some very good, some not so good, the import Bucks are at the lower end of the scale.Baykeeper wrote:I had a couple, both Toothpicks, I was so NOT enthused with them I gave them away. Changed my variable knife to Case Texas Jack. If I get a little spare time I'll get it out and take a pic or three.
Looking for the magic penny!

Great carries and pics as always fellas! These two have become my favorite "wandering in the woods" combo. Battle Horse Knives Maverick scout, and an orange Vic Farmer
