Nice!
I have a couple Rat II's and really like them.
Excellent fit and finish, smooth, really nice.
I hope to get a Rat 1 too.
I never met a Schrade I didn't like

This is a nice looking knife, but curious what defines it as a "bicentennial", which is a celebration of 200th anniversary?

These today. "As I walk thru the Valley of..... etc, etc, as one member said". I prefer a Glock or SIG along and CASE of course when walking thru that valley personally with the man upstairs watching and walking along side of me. Jesus never carried a pocket knife either as I recall although I think he might have. Could be wrong. To each his own! Belated post reply so bear with me for those whom have no idea what I am talking about. Message will get across I am sure. Interesting that you happen to be in the same area/time as all the maniacs you mentioned which would of course traverse all over the US. Assumption is Bundy was in WA before you were born.

If this message is confusing to you, then it is not meant for you with all due respect.

Thank Wade! That 5111-1?2LSSP isn't bad either! Skin some ducks with that stainless blade recently. Razor sharp and advertised in the old catalogs at that time as a "hunting knife" does the job well. Love the stag on that knife. Although I will always have a 65 Hunter pattern along just in case. Hope to skin a yote soon with it.
Glad to see you were not startled by the Glock also in the picture. Gotta let that go...
Regards, Jerry

Jerry, as always you are toting some beautiful Case knives! I saw the previous messages - you are dead nutz on the money. Rather be a Sheepdog than a Sheep! OH

Nice carries Donald! That one laying on it's side in the foreground is my favorite. Nice one!

Are the Rats assisted opening? And are they all made in Taiwan or are some of them made in China?

Thanks John. Was thinking about getting one just because I don't have one but I think I've changed my mind. After looking at several, it just doesn't snap my galluses.

Me scared by a Glock? Only thing there that would scare me if if it's a 9mm it might not make a big enough hole!

My packing around gun is a Springfield XDS . 45.

And yes, I know to what you are referring and I agree with Bruce.

That is some funny stuff there Wade my friend in the first 2 sentences. I am with you. That's why I carry a SIG 10mm P220 5" bbl with Buffalo Bore 1350 fps 180 grain JHP. Oh, I forgot, and 2 spare eight (8) round magazines, "just in case".
