What pattern bone is this? - Robeson

I'm interested in knowing what "jigging" pattern this is?

Don't know that there is a specific name but I would call it worm groove green bone. Looks to be a pretty old style jigging.

Agree with Wayne, "worm groove", but I refrain from calling it"Green Bone". Apparently, the sophisticated Case collectors object to that being applied to anything other than a Case knife.

I tend to call it "green colored" or "brown".

Cattaraugus called this bone,which they also used, "Indian Trail".

They don't mind you calling it "green".

They just think "green bone" should be exclusively used in relation to the old Case knives.

I'm not making this up and the first person that ever corrected me on that was Bernard Levine on BladeForums.com. He did it simply referencing the fact that the Case collectors held that term sacred to Case knives.
