I don't think this is 2nd cut bone. Can someone shed some light on this knife? I hope it worth what I have in it. $250

Case Trapper with muskrat blade and 2nd cut bone.
I recently purchased a Case Trapper Case XX USA no dot's as a 2nd cut bone. What doesw 2nd cut bone look like? What does the Muskrat blade in the trapper look like?

Nice Trapper! Good news and bad...it doesn't have a Muskrat blade and it's not 2nd Cut either. Good news is that is does have a book value of 250.00. Your knife is a standard 6254 SSP from the USA era.
I think I have a 2nd Cut with a Muskrat blade. I'll see if I can get a picture of it and post it.

Hi Marty, and welcome. The trapper below has a musrat blade. It also has second cut jigging but this one is stag. Just picture this jigging style with bone handles. We also had a good discussion on muskrat blades in the Trapper John MD thread if you care to go back through it. Thanks also for your PM.
