Northfield 891212 Stag Riverboat Gambler

I am wanting to trade a new in tube Northfield 891212 Genuine Stag Riverboat Gambler for either a new Great Eastern or Canal Street hunting knife with sheath. The Riverboat Gambler comes without an attached shield, but rather has a collar/hat pin. These pins are rare as hen's teeth. I paid $140 for this knife a while back and it's just been sitting in my dark safe.

Well - no interest in my knife, so I broke out my NIB Buck fixed blade. In light of that, I'm going to keep my Stag Riverboat Gambler. Thanks for the opportunity to show it.

Ps That is a nice GEC pocketknife! I don't own a GEC or Canal Street fixed blade - I've used Buck's and Schrade's for skinning and cutting up deer for years with an occassional Case or Western. I've looked at the GEC and CSC on line but never bought one (I like to handle a deer knife before I buy it). You will be real happy with a Buck (my favorite).

OH, as for the NIB Buck, I got it at Walmart years ago and never broke it out. The pictures, sadly there are none. After my little Army stint in the 1970's, I lost the desire to kill defenseless wild animals. I'm happy for those that do. I've got a bunch of hand guns and rifles, but I just don't hunt. I carry a pistol every day, and shoot at the range 2 - 3 times a month. I can't really explain or justify it. Go figure.

Well, if you are happy then it doesn't bear explaining - got to respect each man's right to do things his own way. If you ever take a photo of that Buck put it in the Buck Sub-Forum - Dogg and I hang out there on the rare days something gets posted. OH
