Me too Scott! It was a little lazy on the main blade but a soak in mineral oil fixed that. Gave a ten spot for it and couldn't be more pleased!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
My wife recently gave me my first GEC. A Northfield 83, cocobolo, polished drop point. Problem is, it's much too pretty to actually use. I might consider cutting a string with it - if the string was dry and clean...
So I had to buy it's more plebeian version to cut stuff with. Ebony and clip point, just for variety. I like the drop point better.

And cross referencing that map to Street View. Could this be the 1896 Tidioute Cutlery Co?

"plebeian" I learned a new word today. Thank you. I like it and if I can remember it (fat chance), it will come in handy.

HMS, I've been thinking real hard about those 83s
Ivoryman, nice looking S&M
Dave, It's 15 below zero here.
I've carried the same nice little Schrade USA 104ot and a brutish CRKT Razel for several days.
Both are great knives for different uses.

Ken & Dogg, Always good to see old Schrade USA knives in use - that pommel factory?? OH

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Knifeaholic fed the addiction for a minute with this old Pal Cutlery Stockman. This is the kind in my book from the great bone to the excellent snap, solid lock up, action, size, fit in the hand, nice everything. All this and old age too. Looks as old as Plain Dave's 85 Bullet End. Sweet.
