I'm curious about the self sharpening EDGIE.
How does that work, Scott?

If I may, I'll respond for Scott regarding the Edgie/Edgie2.FRJ wrote:TripleF wrote:Gonna give this self sharpening CRKT EDGIE a ride today...

They have liners with small diamonds which create burrs on the blade.
When you close and open them they "sharpen" the blade.
After a lot of use, opening and closing it 4-5 times brings it right back.
I've used one for two years on cardboard at my job.
It works pretty good. Saves changing the blades on box cutters all the time.
Mine is an Edgie2. I bought a spare awhile back just to have.
Thanks, Harold
Sorry for bad old pics.

I'll have perty much the usual knives when I suit up in a bit. I kinda think the thin old delrin Remington jack will be the down in front packet knife. Probably the Chestnut Peanut too as the Ulster needs a bit of cleaning and touch up.
Looking for the magic penny!

Ya know dogg, right in line with and next after a 72 Camillus or clone, those 3¼" jacks are just about the perfect carry for the average guy (or gal).garddogg56 wrote:Due to Jerrys thread I ran sum medium jacks with my multitool and modern folder, today it was a Camillus franken jack with a Delica

You got that right Jerry
and them 72s are great just for there beautiful lines.I generally like a 3.5"-3.75" for my main carry but I like the 3.25"down to a peanut in my watch pocket.

Bullet End today after Plain Dave's got me thinking of them. A few swipes on the stone and strop and the New Britain is hair popping, pocket riding. Great steel whatever it is.

Love the bone that looks like old Rogers on that sleeve board Scott. That one's blades look like Plain Daves 85 patina, entire knife is ancient looking cool beauty.
