Craftsman Barlow with stag

Post by orvet »

I enjoy working on knives but I really don't enjoy taking pics and posting them.
The whole process takes so much time away from working on knives! ::nod::

This is a Craftsman Barlow I reworked with some nice stag handles.
Although ithad Delrin handles there is pitting to the blades, it appears the knife was in the vicinity of one or more celluloid objects that were gassy.

Hope you enjoy the pics.
The knife will eventually be in my store when I get time to write it up.

I like what I see, nice job and nice knife. Maybe I need another hobby, since cold weather is heading our way soon. Been wanting to dive into knife repair. This makes me wanting to even more.

Thanks guys. ::tu::

Keith, it is a great hobby that soon turns into an addiction!
Soon you will sell your mint knives to buy old broken parts knives to work on. ::nod::
It is far more satisfying for me to bring an old knife back to life than to add one more mint knife to the display shelf.

Dale, great work as always. That's a real looker.
