Camillus beauty needs TLC

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus beauty needs TLC

I found this old congress pattern, though I think they were sometimes referred to as a Senator pattern.
It is 3-1/8" and one pivot pin is broken and the celluloid is broken.
I picked it up at a flea market for a dollar or two.

The knife is real solid and has actually been used very little I think.
This goes in the pile to fix when I get caught up next year. :mrgreen:

As you can see it is a Sword Brand, the top of the line for Camillus and has the 4 line tang stamp.
I think it was probably made well before WWII.
